I would like my students to be able to feel motivated and inspired to learn a language when they look at me and hear my own experience as a language learner. It is not impossible to achieve full fluency in a foreign language; and the process can be very enjoyable.
*I am a native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese, born and raised in Sao Paulo, and fluent in American English. Currently, I work as a consecutive over-the-phone and in-person interpreter (EnglishPortuguese) in the medical, legal and insurance field in the United States. While working as a Language Teacher for over five years, both online and in-person, I have gained the experience I need in order to interpret and translate all aspects of a language, taking into consideration cultural nuances and different communication styles.
