A: So what are your parents like?
B: They’re cool, I guess. My mom is really energetic; she goes for a run every morning, and she often goes cycling on weekends. My dad, on the other hand, rarely does any exercise. He enjoys reading and cooking—kinda nerdy, I suppose.
A: They sound like interesting people. My parents are totally boring: they never do anything or go anywhere. My dad is really strict. He gets all uptight whenever a boy calls me. And my mom never stops nagging.
B: That’s horrible! So should I stop calling you from now on?
A: Don’t be daft! Call me anytime you want.
B: You are such a rebel!
A: It takes one to know one. I guess that’s why we are such good friends.
B: You’re completely right about that!
