Grandpa: Look at this neighborhood, Tammy! It’s changed a lot!

Tammy: Really, grandpa? What was it like before?

Grandpa: Well, there were no office buildings or apartment buildings around here. I remember that it was full of green fields, bushes, and trees stretching endlessly to the horizon.Your grandma and I used to sit under a tree in the middle of the field and appreciate the picturesque sunset.

Tammy: Wow! That sounds so romantic.

Grandpa: There were only a few ranches scattered around here. It was so quiet and the air was incredibly fresh. I really loved it, although it was not as convenient as it is today.

Tammy: It’s really hard for me to imagine that.

Grandpa: I know. These days, more and more people are moving here. And all the ranches and small stores were torn down already.

Tammy: Yeah. And more and more high-rise multiplex buildings are being built, as well as the new subway lines.

Grandpa: It seems as if there is a construction site on every corner.

Tammy: Hey, grandpa! That doesn’t sound bad! I believe it will look great after the transformation.
