As an English teacher for more than 10 years, I am convinced that in language learning, there should be no impression without expression; no inspiration without perspiration. Effective learning is the result of frequent usage and continuous practice. On the other hand, to increase students' participation in class, I like to use various materials to do with our daily lives or some interesting games connected with the topics of each lesson.
I also like to give my students constant praise, reinforcement and acknowledgement of their hard work. Helping to build up students' confidence in expressing themselves in English whenever they are in my class is another mission of mine.
As we all know, not everyone is a fast learner; therefore, I am patient and allow them to make some mistakes. I always tell my students making mistakes is the process of learning English. We can only better our English through countless mistakes.
During the class, I always consider myself a helper and a supporter for students through their journey of learning. I like my students to be the center of attention and always in the spotlight; that is, no one is left behind in my class. Everyone is a super star of their own. I am Tr. Jackson, welcome to join my class. Let’s explore the world of English learning altogether.
Hi everybody! My name is William and right now I'm taking the intermediate conversation course at David's Shilin branch. I've been happily taking class here for six months. For me, a guy who has to work almost every day, having English class to enrich my life is a really great thing. Even though I have to hurry to class right after work and I'm tired, I still get to learn something in each class, so it's worth it. Every time before class, I think I'll be able to speak fluently, but when class starts, I stumble over my words. But that's the way language study is -- you've got to improve a little bit at a time. David's is a place where you can really challenge yourself in learning English because the teachers don't speak Chinese. I recommend David's to everybody
